Adam Lambert & Queen to Usher in the New Year with Live Streamed Concert

Billboard.com reports that Adam Lambert will once again unite with ROCK LEGENDS Queen in London for an exclusive concert to be broadcast live on BBC One from Central Hall Westminster on New Year's Eve. Said Lambert of the concert news, "Words can't describe how excited I am. We are going to kick off 2015 in style."

The performance will be live-streamed, although it has not been reported whether U.S. fans will be able to access the webcast. BBC Radio One hosts Greg James and Gemma Cairney will host the event.

As previously reported, Lambert will return to AMERICAN IDOL as a guest judge, filling in for Keith Urban who was mourning the loss of his father-in-law over the summer. Lambert was the runner up on the eighth season of the FOX singing competition and previously served as a mentor during the 13th season of the show alongside Idol alum Chris Daughtry.

A finalist on the eighth season of AMERICAN IDOL, Lambert's 2009 album For Your Entertainment debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200, Top 10 in numerous countries worldwide and featured the singles"For Your Entertainment," "Whataya Want from Me" and "If I Had You." The album has gone on to sell more than two million copies and nearly five million singles worldwide.Soon after the album release, Lambert headlined a worldwide concert tour, Glam Nation, becoming the first AMERICAN IDOL contestant to immediately tour worldwide. Lambert's 2012 album "Trespassing" bettered his first album by debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 char
