According to Deadline.com, comedy actress Jenna Elfman will be joining the cast of the upcoming fifth and final season of DirectTV's DAMAGES.  Elfman will have a major recurring role on the show, which stars Glenn Close and Rose Byrne. She is perhaps best known for her role in the TV sitcom DHARMA & GREG.   Recently, it was announced that actor Ryan Phillippe would also be joining the cast.

Elfman will play an investment bank employee who becomes upset over her company's questionable conduct.  She brings her concerns to Channing McClaren (Phillippe), the founder of a website which specializes in corporate and government transparency. A law case ensues, pitting Patty Hewes (Close) against Ellen Parsons (Byrne).

Actor John Hannah (Spartacus) was also recently cast on the show's fifth season.  He will play McClaren's trustworthy adviser and protector.

Elfman recently appeared on the season premiere of TWO AND A HALF MAN, and this summer, starred in the comedy film, "Friends With Benefits".
