For the 3rd week in a row, ABC was Monday's No. 1 TV network in Total Viewers (9.3 million) while taking second in Adults 18-49 (1.4/5). "Dancing" was Monday's most watched television show overall and ranked No. 2 for the night to NBC's "The Voice" in Adults 18-49. Among Adults 18-49, the ABC unscripted series topped original competition on the night from NBC's "Blindspot" (1.3/4), CBS' "Supergirl" finale (1.2/4), "Scorpion" (1.5/5) and "NCIS: LA" (1.2/4), as well as Fox's "Gotham" (1.2/4) and "Lucifer" (1.3/4).

"Dancing with the Stars" (8:00-10:00 p.m. - 11.0 million and 1.6/5 in AD18-49):
From 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" was Monday's most watched TV series for the 5th week in a row, outdrawing NBC's "The Voice" by 1.1 million viewers (11.0 million vs. 9.9 million). In addition, "Dancing" took second in the 2-hour slot with Adults 18-49 (1.6/5), leading original dramas on CBS by 14% (1.4/5 - "Supergirl" finale / "Scorpion") and FOX by 33% (1.2/4 - "Gotham"/ "Lucifer").

"Castle" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 6.0 million and 1.0/3 in AD18-49):
During the 10:00 p.m. hour, ABC's "Castle" outdrew NBC's "Blindspot" for its 4th straight original among Total Viewers (+7% - 6.0 million vs. 5.6 million).

Live + 3 Day Ratings for Last Monday (4/11/16): "Castle" delivered a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49 after 3 days of TV playback (up +64% from a 1.1 in L+SD), growing over the prior week by 6% to match its top L+3 rating of 2016.

Projections Rationale:
Lifts vs. L+SD are based on the 2015-16 season for premiere telecast or an average for originals (excluding the premiere).
Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals).
New Series: Based on similar series.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 48% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.
