Michael B. Seligman Set to Return as Supervising Producer Of OSCARS Telecast

Michael B. Seligman has been named supervising producer of the 85th Academy Awards® telecast, marking his 36th year of association with the show, telecast producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced today. With more than 300 major television events to his credit, Seligman specializes in producing live broadcasts throughout the world. In December, he will again serve as executive producer for NBC's two-hour live show "The American Giving Awards.

Seligman has earned a total of ten Emmy® nominations, including a nomination for his work on the most recent Oscar telecast. He has received eight nominations for his work on Oscar shows alone. Seligman's other producing credits include "America Celebrates July 4th at Ford's Theatre"; "America's Millennium," a three-hour live New Year's Eve celebration; the NBC special "Funny Women of Television"; "Return to theTitanic…Live!"; and "CBS at 75," a three-hour special celebrating the network's 75th Anniversary.
