Red Wanting Blue Announce New Album THE WANTING Out April 27

Los Angeles based Blue Élan Records is proud to announce the newest addition to their diverse artist roster, the mid-western rock band, Red Wanting Blue. With the signing news, the roots/rock quintet are thrilled to announce their new album,The Wanting, will be released on April 27TH and the band will launch a full U.S. tour on May 3rd continuing on through June 30th.

"We are delighted to welcome Red Wanting Blue to our label family. We've been fans for quite a while, so it's a pleasure to be able to release their next album," said Kirk Pasich, owner of Blue Élan Records.

Adds Red Wanting Blue's Scott Terry, "This album has been a real labor of love for us...so much so that it's garnered the title "The Wanting" which was drawn from our band's name, Red Wanting Blue. I guess you could say it's our way of paying homage to our journey. So to have a label that calls itself Blue Elan emerge out of the West Coast woodwork interested in partnering up and excited about releasing this record? Well...we're not a wildly superstitious bunch, but we can't help but feel like this is a bit of kismet. It's got us hopeful for the future of this album. We want this music to reach as far and wide as possible. If Blue Elan can help us make that a reality...it's going to a great partnership."

The Wanting is the band's 11th album to date. Over the course of 10 studio albums, they brought their passionate, unforgettable live show to every city and town that would have them, blazing their own distinctive trail through the American heartland as they built up the kind of fanatically dedicated audiences normally reserved for arena acts.

Blue Élan Records features a wide range of artists including the iconic Rita Coolidge and Rusty Young of Poco fame, in addition to up and coming singer/songwriter Chelsea Williams and Texas outlaw country singer/guitarist, Jesse Dayton.
