Olsson Releases HOLD ON EP Today

The Stockholm based solo artist and producer Olsson has released his highly anticipated debut EP, "HOLD ON" today on Universal Music. The dance-floor filler EP is available now on all digital platforms as well as on classic 12".

The EP includes Olsson's acclaimed debut single "HOLD ON" which features Swedish artist Mapei, and received its worldwide premiere on Zane Lowe's Beats1 radio show earlier this summer. The track has gone on to receive worldwide acclaim and support from fans and the media, during such uncertain times, "HOLD ON" has fast become an uplifting anthem for many in 2016.

On the B-side you will find "Thin Love" which was the first song recorded under the Olsson moniker. "Thin Love is about feeling numb really. Its about breaking out of something truly destructive. Thin Love is the first song I wrote for Olsson. I was in a very disturbed state. It was the point where I told my demons to fuck-off."

Accompanying the single, the EP also feature two incredible remixes from house music prodigy Isaac Tichauer and drum and bass legend DJ Marky. "I'm a big fan of both of their work." Explains Olsson. "DJ Marky for his 3pm-with-two-cocktails-in-you kind of groove. And Isaac Tichauer for his 3am dancing alone kind of vibe. Its a perfect combination for an all-around-the-clock EP."

Having grown up in Gothenburg during the 90s, Olsson was heavily influenced by Hacienda andMadchester scene in the UK which has now become his strongest foundation musically. His infectious debut EP is a true testament to the singer, songwriter and producer who also plans to tour and release more music later this year.
