Marieann Meringolo to Play Ware Center, 3/21

Mac & Bistro Award-Winning Vocalist Marieann Meringolo just concluded her third appearance of multi-night performances at NYC's premiere cabaret showroom, the Metropolitan Room, with her latest show "Orchestrated!" It sold-out and got a standing ovation at each performance. In fact, she was held over so many times, she is a regular there now.

Now The Ware Center, 42 North Prince Street, Lancaster, PA, will present her smash new show "Orchestrated!" Friday, March 21 at 7:30 PM.

Known for her strength in performance and powerful presence, Meringolo has also been described and having one of the best voices in cabaret. She has been compared to k.d. Lang, Barbra Streisand, Nancy LaMott and Eva Cassidy and now returns with a brand new show backed by a seven piece mini orchestra, under the skillful baton of her longtime accompanist Doyle Newmyer. The musicians backing her are all professional local musicians. The show is directed by Eric Michael Gillett.

Marieann Meringolo's signature blend of stunning vocals and intense passion reinvents enchanting classics and masters original songs as timeless works of art. She has appeared at New York City venues such as Feinstein's, joe's pub...at The Public Theater, The Town Hall, The Russian Tea Room, The Rainbow Room, The Hammerstein Ballroom and Tavern On The Green.

Marieann has produced five CDs and can be heard on Radio stations around the world. Her voice has also been found playing on selected United Airlines flights as well as the Vice President's airplane...Air Force II and she has performed live at the United Nations!
