Kidnap Kid's Birds That Fly has been climbing deep into the UK underground since the label launched last year. Keeping standards sky high, the first release of 2017 comes from South London duo Jynx, recently chosen by Annie Mac for her New Names To Watch series on BBC Radio 1, they present their Sandstorm EP.

Emulating a distinct UK sound, Jynx fuses genres to create this stunning two track release. Sandstorm is designed for the dancefloor while Feather Dance takes on pop sensibilities with a truly infectious vocal. Jynx explained of the material, "We love both of the tracks for different reasons. Sandstorm we wanted to go quite raw and simple. Feather Dance was an experiment into new production terrain and into a different type of groove."

Jynx originally made a big impact with their debut on Eton Messy and have since remixed for PMR and Virgin Records. The two childhood friends are originally from the West Country. Jack is a self taught musician and Patrick an ex radio producer for Rinse FM, and they started making music together in 2012. This next release is a perfect addition to Kidnap Kid's Birds That Fly label and a sign of what is yet to come from the talented duo.
