60's pop icons Jay & The Americans will bring their timeless musical grooves to the historic Suffolk Theater on May 10, 2014. Showtime is 8pm; doors at 6:30pm. Tickets are available at www.suffolktheater.com, or at 631-727-4343, and are priced at $40.

Known for light and poppy songs that bridge 50s doo-wop with 60's soul and British invasion sounds, Jay & The Americans influenced generations of musical groups that followed. Inducted into the Vocal Hall of Fame in 2002, the group scored twenty Billboard Top 100 hits with four in the top 10, including "This Magic Moment," "Walkin' in the Rain," "Cara Mia," "She Cried," "Only in America" and "Come a Little Bit Closer."

Jay & The Americans were originally formed as a group of six high school classmates from the Belle Harbor neighborhood on Long Island and were originally known by the name "The Harbor Lites".

A la carte dinner available throughout the evening; reservations suggested. Purchase tickets/book dinner at www.suffolktheater.com or 631-727-4343
