Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce A NIGHT TO ROCK with former SNL Band Leader GE SMITH & ISRAELI SUPERSTAR DAVID BROZA, Friday, April 10 at 8 pm. This concert will be in high demand with two of the most dynamic and in demand musicians around.

Tickets are $40 and available online at www.baystreet.org or by calling the Bay Street Theater Box Office at 631-725-9500, open Tuesday through Saturday 11 am to 5 pm.

The evening of amazing music will feature GE Smith, one of the most highly sought after blues and rock guitarists in the world and David Broza, known as an international singer/songwriter.

GE SMITH played with Hall and Oates, Bob Dylan and is most known as the leader of the Saturday Night Live (SNL) band for 10 years (1985 - 1995). It was arguably the best late-night band on television at the time and garnered G.E. an Emmy Award for his work. The SNL roster of guest musicians read like a Who's Who of contemporary music: Eddie Van Halen, Keith Richards, Rickie Lee Jones, Al Green, Bryan Ferry, et al. In fact, many of the best musical (surprise) moments came when G.E. invited guitar heroes to play with the band, unannounced. Eddie Van Halen was the first, followed by an amazing roster that included David Gilmour, Lonnie Mack, Dave Edmonds, Johnny Winter, Buddy Guy, and others. The Buddy Guy visit eventually resulted in the GE's 1996 Grammy-nominated Buddy Guy -- Live CD, with G.E. and the SNL band.

DAVID BROZA, an Israeli superstar, has brought a fusion of the three different countries in which he was raised: Israel, Spain, and England, filling concert halls with his famous guitar playing, ranging from flamenco flavored rhythmic and percussion techniques, to whirlwind finger picking, to a signature rock and roll sound. Broza unites the three worlds by utilizing his ability to take on the troubadour tradition, up to now, featuring lyrics of the worlds' greatest poets. More than a singer/songwriter, David Broza is also well known for his commitment and dedication to several humanitarian causes, predominantly, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Tickets are $40 and are available online at www.baystreet.org or by calling the Bay Street Theater Box Office at 631-725-9500, open Tuesday through Saturday 11 am to 5 pm.
