Last night, actress Meryl Streep sat down with "Extra's" Jerry Penacoli to discuss her upcoming film role in Tracy Letts' "August: Osage County." During the interview however, Streep revealed the exciting news that lyricist/composer Stephen Sondheim has written an all-new song for her character 'The Witch' in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of his hit Broadway musical "Into the Woods!"

"I have a new song that Sondheim wrote for me, so it's all very, very," gushed the award-winning actress. She later shared, "He gave me the manuscript of it and he wrote, 'don't f**k it up!'"

Streep also discussed her role as a drug-addicted and dysfunctional mother in "August: Osage County," sharing, "It was an unpleasant place to be in her head... to be in her mind was like being in prison, like in the dining hall of a prison where you hide a shiv in your hair in case you have to cut somebody."

The cast for INTO THE WOODS also features James Corden as The Baker, Emily Blunt as The Baker's Wife, Johnny Depp as The Wolf, Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, Chris Pine as Cinderella's Prince, Billy Magnussen as Rapunzel's Prince, Mackenzie Mauzy as Rapunzel, Lucy Punch as Lucinda, Tammy Blanchard as Florinda, Christine Baranski as Cinderella's Stepmother and Tracey Ullman as Jack's Mother, with Lilla Crawford as Little Red Riding Hood and Daniel Huttlestone as Jack.

The film is set to be released on December 25, 2014.
