The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced today that the 2013 Produced By Conference (PBC) will be hosted by 20th Century Fox Studios in Century City, Calif., June 8-9, 2013.

Now in its fifth year, the Produced By Conference spans the film, television and new media industries by bringing together the global community of producers into a unique educational, networking and career enhancement forum. The two-day event involves acclaimed producers including many Academy Award®-winning filmmakers and Emmy® Award winners, as well as the next generation of creative entrepreneurs.

“On a daily basis and around the world, producers drive the entertainment and media industries,” said Producers Guild of America National Executive Director Vance Van Petten. “Our Produced By Conference is sold out every year because it is one-of-a-kind event where storytellers, innovators and thought-leaders gather as a community to share ideas, discover new trends, enhance their skills and forge lasting business and personal relationships with fellow colleagues. We are so pleased to welcome 20th Century Fox Studios as a return host for this year’s Conference.”

The 2013 PBC is chaired by Tracey Edmonds, Producers Guild President Emeritus Marshall Herskovitz, Rachel Klein and Gary Lucchesi. Karen Schwartzman (Creative Axis International) is the 2013 PBC Program Director, Diane Salerno (Six Degrees Global) is the 2013 PBC Sponsorship Director and Lynda Dorf is the 2013 PBC Marketing Consultant.

The Produced By Conference is held through the Producers Guild of America’s charitable entity, the PGA Foundation, as it epitomizes the Foundation’s core mission to educate those who work in the producing profession.
