Kirby plays Yemi, who lives in London with his Nigerian mother, played by Golda John. Ukeje plays Yemi's brother Iku, who comes from Nigeria to visit his brother and, in the process, up-ends Yemi's reputation. The story follows the estranged teenage brothers over the course of a single day as they meet for the first time.

Agbaje's play Gone Too Far! premiered at The Royal Court Theatre in London in 2007 and took home the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliated Theatre. The play went on to play revivals at the Albany Theatre and Hackney Empire. The playwright has been collaborating with Ekaragha on the film script.

Malachi Kirby's film credits include Offender, My Brother the Devil and appearances on television in Way to Go, Doctors, The Bill, Silent Witness and Casualty.

OC Ukeje has appeared in Wetin Dey, Comrade, Confusion Na Wa, The Awakening, Black November, Half of a Yellow Sun, HoodRush and more.
