A first look at the stars on set in BEAUTY & THE BEAST!

The hotly anticipated live action musical film version of the classic animated Disney movie musical BEAUTY & THE BEAST is currently in production in the UK featuring many of Broadway and Hollywood's best and a fresh new update from the set is now available to view.

This week, the official Snapchat app for the film shared a shot of FROZEN standout and BEAUTY & THE BEAST featured player Josh Gad alongside the new big screen Gaston, Luke Evans, on the blue-screen dominated set for the upcoming movie musical at Shepperton Studios in the UK.

Last month, Gad shared his enthusiasm for the film and complimented Luke Evans, commenting, "Danced like a lunatic for 2 days straight. @TheRealLukevans thank u 4 being an amazing partner & Epsom salts, thank u 4 being my best friend".

Of note, Gad portrays Lefou in the film adaptation of the Broadway hit.

In addition to Emma Watson, the new BEAUTY & THE BEAST is set to showcase stage and screen star Dan Stevens as The Beast, along with film star Luke Evans as Gaston.

Of note, the starry cast also includes two-time Academy Award winner Emma Thompson, Oscar winner Kevin Kline, six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald, recognizable stage and screen stars Timothy Spall and Ewan McGregor along with iconic stage and screen notable Sir Ian McKellen.

BEAUTY & THE BEAST is set to be released on March 17, 2017.

Josh Gad is best known to theatre enthusiasts for his leading role in the original Broadway cast of THE BOOK OF MORMON as well as having made numerous TV and film appearances including his headlining part on the FX series THE COMEDIANS.
