In an interview with the Daily Beast, Tony Award winning actor Hugh Jackman teased details about the newest X-Men film, X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.

The much anticipated sequel, set to hit theaters on May 23rd, 2014, stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Jennifer Lawrence. Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage and Shawn Ashmore.

The film will act as something of a sequel to 'First Class'. Days of Future Past is taken from two issues of Marvel Comics' Uncanny X-Men in 1981. The story was set in an alternate future in which surviving mutants were confined to concentration camps, while most of the X-Men had been killed. In order to stop this dismal future from unfolding, the X-Men had to stop a specific event from occurring in the past.
