Deadline writes that Flight of the Conchords' Jemaine Clement will star in James C. Strouse's upcoming indie film PEOPLE PLACES THINGS. Strouse also wrote the script.

Clement will play "a newly single, under-employed graphic novelist navigating life, his young twin daughters, a case of writer's block, a classroom full of students, and a new love while letting go of the woman who left him."

Also in the cast are Regina Hall, Stephanie Allynne and Jessica Williams.

Clement has also appeared on the big screen in Eagle vs. Shark, Gentleman Broncos, Dinner for Schmucks, Predicament, Rio and Rio 2, What We Do in the Shadows, Muppets Most Wanted and more.

Director Strouse has written and helmed Grace Is Gone and The Winning Season; he also wrote the script for a scene in New York, I Love You and the upcoming film The Hollars.
