First Trailer For Wilson & Byrne In INSIDIOUS 2

Versatile stage and screen star Patrick Wilson joins Rose Byrne and Barbara Hershey in the follow-up to 2010's horror hit INISIDIOUS, INSIDIOUS 2, and a trailer has just been released.

The terrifying trailer is our first look at the new feature film from James Wan, who previously directed Wilson in the first INSIDIOUS film as well as in the forthcoming THE CONJURING.

The official synopsis for INSIDIOUS 2 is as follows: "The famed horror team of director James Wan and writer Leigh Whannell reunite with the original cast of Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey and Ty Simpkins in INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2, a terrifying sequel to the acclaimed horror film, which follows the haunted Lambert family as they seek to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world."

Wilson recently participated in my InDepth InterView column and spoke about his work with Wan on their various collaborations, recounting of horror films in general, "James just loves that stuff. You know, for having been in three or four horror movies, I'm not a big horror guy, so when James and I have conversations, he has a tendency to lose me sometimes," Wilson said with a laugh.
