Variety reports that Ellen Page and Evan Rachel Wood will portray sisters in Patricia Rozema's INTO THE FOREST. Page will also serve as producer along with Kelly Bush Novak and Sriram Das. Haroon (Boon) Saleem is executive producing and Kristina Sorensen is associate producer.

The project will be a big screen adaptation of Jean Hegland's novel of the same name. The film will follow on two sisters "struggling to survive after the collapse of society in the not-too-distant future."

Page will soon be seen in theaters in X-Men: Days of Future Past. She is scheduled to begin production on Fox's "Queen and Country."

Wood's next film project is "Charlie Countryman" co-starring Shia LaBeouf. She'll also appear opposite Justin Long in "A Case of You". Her latest project in the can is Andrew Fleming's "Barefoot."
