DWTS contestants Tom DeLay and Kathy Ireland suffer the first of the season's injuries. Fortunately, neither are serious and, in Ireland's case, not even suffered on the dance floor! Former Congressman

Tom DeLay ("The Hammer),the former House Majority Leader, whose political career in congress ende when his high profile legal problems forced him to step down, suffered a pre-stress fracture in his right foot. He is still in rehearsals with partner Cheryl Burke and determined not to back down. He tweeted: "No stress fracture!...It is a pre-stress fracture. I live for another day."

Slightly more serious was a gash to the leg former supermodel Kathy Ireland suffered while surfing with her son, Erik. She was taken to the emergency room where her surgeon husband Greg Olsen stitched her up. Ireland is back in rehearsals with partner Tony Dovolani, undeterred. Dovoloni's reaction to the injury: "Save the injuries for the dance floor!"
