The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA)--the voice of the global business travel industry--today announced award winning actor and comedian, Jason Alexander, will be a featured speaker at the GBTA Convention 2014, July 26-30, in Los Angeles. Alexander will be speaking at Convention Arena today, July 30.

"While best known as George Costanza, Jason Alexander's diverse career has taken him from Broadway and stand-up comedy to film, television and directing," said Michael W. McCormick executive director and COO of GBTA. "We are thrilled to announce Jason as a featured speaker and know he will entertain our attendees sending them off on a high-note as we close Convention."

Best known for his role as the much-loved character George Costanza on Seinfeld, a role which garnered him six Emmy and four Golden Globe nominations, an American Television Award and two American Comedy Awards, Jason Alexander brings his hilarious one-man variety show, An Evening with Jason Alexander and His Hair, to life. His Las Vegas show features stand-up comedy, music, improvisation and audience participation in an act that has delighted audiences from Montreal to Melbourne.

His career defines diversity, from Broadway to stand-up comedy, film, television and directing. He debuted on Broadway in the original production of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along. He wrote the libretto for Jerome Robbins' Broadway, in which he also played 14 different characters, winning him Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Tony Awards. Audiences have enjoyed his many stage performances, most notably his acclaimed run alongside Martin Short in Mel Brooks' The Producers.

As actor, director, writer and stand-up comedian, Alexander's film credits include Pretty Woman, Shallow Hal, The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, North and The Paper. His other television works include guest starring on Larry David's HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm and his Emmy-nominated appearance on Dream On.
