CBS Leads Nominations for 43rd ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and THE TALK exclusively revealed the "43rd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards" nominations live today on the CBS Television Network. CBS lead the Daytime Emmy nominations with 77 nods, more than any other network, and more than ABC and NBC combined.

The #1 daytime drama THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS received 27 nominations. In addition, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL received 23, THE TALK received six, LET'S MAKE A DEAL, THE PRICE IS RIGHT, CBS THIS MORNING, and CBS SUNDAY MORNING received two each. CBS THIS MORNING SATURDAY received one. Shows from THE CBS DREAM TEAM, IT'S EPIC! Saturday Morning lineup received 12.

CBS Daytime's entire entertainment lineup was honored with both THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL receiving nominations for Outstanding Drama Series. THE TALK was nominated for Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment and Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host. THE PRICE IS RIGHT and LET'S MAKE A DEAL were each nominated for Outstanding Game Show and LET'S MAKE A DEAL's Wayne Brady was nominated for Outstanding Game Show Host.

CBS THIS MORNING and CBS SUNDAY MORNING each received a nomination for Outstanding Morning Program.

The Network's Saturday morning lineup received 12 nominations, with six for THE INSPECTORS, three for THE HENRY FORD'S INNOVATION NATION, two for LUCKY DOG, including a nomination for Brandon McMillan in the Outstanding Lifestyle/Travel/Children's Series Host category. GAME CHANGERS WITH KEVIN FRAZIER received one nomination.

Other top nods include Outstanding Lead Actor nominations for Y&R's Justin Hartley, Christian LeBlanc and Kristoff St. John, and Outstanding Lead Actress for Y&R's Tracey E. Bregman. Outstanding Supporting Actress nominations went to Y&R's Lauralee Bell and Jessica Collins, and B&B's Linsey Godfrey. Y&R's Steve Burton and Bryton James, and B&B's Jacob Young received nods for Outstanding Supporting Actor. Y&R's Hunter King and B&B's Reign Edwards and Ashlyn Pearce received nods for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series, and Y&R's Max Ehrich and B&B's Pierson Fodé were nominated for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series.

CBS Daytime has been #1 in the day-part for 29 consecutive years, featuring a balance of dramas, game shows and talk. THE TALK will continue the celebration with its fourth annual "After Party" on Monday, May 2, when they honor some of the night's biggest winners. Guest names will be announced following THE DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS early Monday morning, May 2.
