POWHATAN, Va. - Author Yon Ethraim Fearshaker first became interested in literature in the eighth grade, and throughout the years he has consistently compiled his work in hopes of getting them published. In "Book of Short Stories" (published by Xlibris) the author has compiled a collection of his work that takes readers on all sorts of adventures.

"Book of Short Stories" is a collection of stories influenced by the author's own experiences growing up. The main premise of the story follows the adventures of a group of young boys as they have fun adventures on a farm. Their adventures take them to all sorts of places and into the unknown. The book was predominantly written to entertain readers with its quick pace and memorable characters.

The book is predominantly a collection of short stories intermingled with poetry. It is a great way for kids to learn the joys of reading.
