Vivian Scott Hixson Releases New Cartoon Collection

EAST LANSING, Mich.

During many years as a part-time, temporary, adjunct and assistant professor at Michigan State University, Vivian Scott Hixson has produced hundreds of cartoons commenting on the academic scene. Hixson's earlier cartoons were first republished as "He Looks Too Happy to Be an Assistant Professor" by the University of Missouri Press in 1995. The success of her first book inspired Hixson to publish a second collection.
