Tom Richardson Gage, seasoned writer and California native, has completed his first novel "The Gutter Gang": an enchanting journey into a bygone time filled with pre-teen mischief and a precisely constructed plot that follows the colorful cast of characters that call themselves "The Gutter Gang".

Author Tom Richardson Gage spoke of his inspiration to write this book as, "This book is loosely based on my childhood experiences, back in a time when neighborhoods had no locked doors, it was okay to drink water from a garden hose, and your free time as a child was always spent outdoors."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Tom Richardson Gage's poignant tale full of vibrant imagery and an engrossing story. This is a book that will be loved by young adults and parents alike.

T. Buddy, Steeber, Link, Bollata, Bigelow, and Meekser are collectively known as the Gutter Gang, junior high school students who go about riding on their minibikes-and in the case of T. Buddy, go-cart-after school to engage in mischief and pranks to gain popularity and attract the attention of girls.
This story follows T. Buddy as he struggles to balance school, girls, and fun in the form of practical jokes but particularly focuses on T. Buddy's relationship with Johnna, the girl of his dreams; his relationship with his older sister and sometime nemesis, Cathy; his relationship with his fun-loving dad; and his relationship with the Gutter Gang as they enjoy junior high school life, which includes going to and escaping school dances, riding around the neighborhood, and generally causing mischief-all the while trying to avoid getting caught by the local law enforcement.

Readers who wish to experience this gripping work can purchase"The Gutter Gang" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
