Tom Belton was born on May 25, 1950, to Josephine Capone and Thomas Belton Jr. His grandfather was Albert Frank Capone of Boston. During visits to his grandfather's home, Belton became captivated with the family history, which ultimately inspired "Capone Bloodline." He currently lives in Plymouth, Mass.
