Larry Presby grew up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, taught English at Southold High School and Sayville High School, both on Long Island. He graduated from Plymouth State University and University of Massachusetts; served in the New Hampshire and New York National Guard. He acted in the Lincoln, New Hampshire Summer Theatre. He and his wife Rosemarie divide their time between Baldwinsville, New York, and Spring Hill, Florida.
