THE THREE CLOWNS Showcases the Artistic Imagination of a 6-year-old

Pablo Picasso once said, "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." When Kirk Mobert was just six years old, he utilized his own young imagination and artistic expressions in writing his own book, "The Three Clowns" (published by iUniverse).

"Kirk wrote the book over a four-day period during his sixth summer," Kirk's mother, Mary Mobert, explains. "I don't know what prompted him to do it. I became aware of the project when he asked me how to spell 'onion.' Instead of spelling the word for him, I asked why he wanted to know. He showed me his book and I suggested that, since he had done such a good job up to that point, he should continue as he was."

Now, Mary shares her son's endearing story about three clowns who learn to juggle, teaching young readers the hard and soft lessons juggling can offer.

"The Three Clowns" is sure to be especially charming to parents, as it is illustrated and written by a child, with no adults participating in the book's creation, maintaining and affirming the limitless creativity of young minds.
