Asklepieion Books announced early praise for "The Caregiver's Bible" by John Killinger (Asklepieion; $15.99; ISBN: 978-1-887730-40-2), a raw and captivating account of the minister's tireless months of care for his ailing wife, his cries to God, and the scriptures that helped sustain him in the darkest and most grueling days.

"'The Caregiver's Bible' is the unvarnished, authentic, frank confessional of a man who divulges his inner struggles attempting to care for his wife as she battles cancer. It is honest, there is no pretense. It is a painful, yet compelling, read and will be especially appreciated by and curiously encouraging to someone whose life experience parallels that of the author. Some persons will vicariously benefit from shadowing the author in a life they hope never to live."
~ W. Cowley, Amazon Reviewer

"Books about caregiving are usually written by objective third parties in sterile language; there's not another book quite like this one."
~ P. Gunn, Amazon Reviewer

"Dr. Killinger, an exceptional writer, gives us the raw truth in this book. His use of scripture before each story was not only provocative but real to the writer as well as the reader. This portrayal of one man's anguished and arduous journey is written not only with skill but from deep within his soul."
~ B. Harkness, Amazon Reviewer
