Excitement is surrounding the release of first time fiction author Stephen Schwertley's thriller 'Enemy in the Heartland'. Early reviewers of the terror plot page turner include an Army Lieutenant Colonel who is currently serving in Afghanistan and says, "Enemy in the Heartland is a believable story that is riveting from beginning to end - the author is a master of tying multiple characters and events into a single theme...."

There is also a compelling real life story behind the book. Schwertley started to write the book as a challenge to himself, while recovering from an unexpected stroke. Writing the novel helped the aspiring author to heal from his stroke related complications while focusing on his life-long dream of publishing his works.

"These ideas had been in my head since my college days and I just had not taken the time to get them onto paper," said Stephen Schwertley author of 'Enemy in the Heartland'. "After the stroke, I decided to challenge myself, not let the symptoms of the stroke stop me and instead use writing the book as therapy during my recovery."

Schwertley wrote this book with one thing in mind-saying he hopes to capture the reader's curiosity from beginning to end. The basic premise behind the plot growing from a group of college friends seeking revenge resulting in a world-wide terror plot leaves fans excited to know there could be a sequel.
