OCEAN, N.J.

Verga Caszar, a piano student living in Hungary during the 1950s, only wanted to be a pianist. Little did he know, his passion would take him on a dangerous, decade-long journey spanning several countries.

Author Sergei Miro's new novel, "Love Affair in B Minor" (published by Trafford Publishing), follows Verga on a journey of passion, romance and danger as he struggles to survive during the Hungarian uprising.

With the Hungarian Revolution in full swing, Verga seeks refuge in Austria, where he continues pursuing his passion for classical music. His piano proficiency eventually sees him competing in the Young Pianist International Talent Competition in Vienna, where he not only finds love but also vengeance. Just as he finds himself in the difficult spot of choosing between a career as a pianist and the safety of his lover, his freedom to choose is taken.

"Love Affair in B Minor" follows Verga as he is forced to flee from one country to the next, eventually landing in the United States, where he discovers old passions and affections may not have been everything he thought they were.
