Throughout history, poetry has been a constant presence in human civilization. This is due to the fact that poetry is considerably one of the purest art forms that allow one to fully express one's perceptions on life and share one's emotions to a multitude of people. Educated at Yale, The Iowa Writer's Workshop and University of Houston, Tony Sanders has published four collections of poetry, the fourth a collaboration ofverse with the poet Chard deNiord. His work has appeared in numerous publications including The New Republic, Poetry, The New York Times Book Review, The Yale Review, Harvard Review, Paris Review, Grand Street, Southwest Review, Boulevard, Prairie Schooner, Hotel Amerika, Western Humanities Review, Confrontations, The Fiddlehead, The Gettysburg Review, Cimarron, The Wallace Stevens Review, Gulf Coast and the Bomb blog site.
