After being awarded a first class honours degree in chemistry, Roger Hamner worked for four years in a commercial environment and later in the heavy chemical industry. Returning to university, he obtained his Doctorate in Organometallic Chemistry at Leicester University, UK. Since 1975, Dr. Hamner has held senior positions in education, production engineering and commerce. He has founded and managed several successful businesses in many different countries and latterly spent over ten years as an educational consultant and specialist English language teacher trainer in Central and South America. He presently lives in North America with his wife.
