FORSYTH, Ill.

Robert Maxxim's childhood was marked by several sleep-time visits to other worlds, past-life recollections and visions of countless alien crafts. In his new book, "Legacy" (published by Xlibris), Maxxim offers a glimpse into these extraordinary experiences through the story of one man's journey through several lifetimes.

The first installment in a five-book series, "Legacy" introduces Bill Sullivan, a geologist on Mars, whose past life experiences on Earth and other worlds make up the novel's story. Through Bill's eyes, readers will witness an unforgettable tale of human intrigue, deceit, power struggles and astonishing space battles across the galaxy.

While the novel takes place in a futuristic setting, its concepts and description of past accounts are based on scientific fact. "Legacy" eloquently portrays mankind's present challenges, misconceptions, secret restrictive organizations and what these can ultimately lead to, using past history as a guide.
