Robert James Glider loves history, especially during the time of pirates. His second novel in the series, "Golden Legacy: A Jacsen Kidd Adventure/Mystery" (published by Trafford Publishing) is an adventure and mystery about a young doctor who must rely on her intuition and the talents of treasure hunters while searching for a treasure purportedly buried on a Caribbean island.

Dr. Abigail Hathaway-Chance digs up a box containing the diary of her ancient grandmother the nefarious pirate, Anne Bonney. She enlists the aid of Jacsen Kidd and his partner Pericles Schmoond to find the fabled treasure of Abigail's ancestor. They are chased through the Caribbean by a Machiavellian Cleric, his partner, a Mafia kingpin and a band of thieves. But Abigail and Jacsen have no idea they are about to discover much more than they ever imagined.

"This is an exciting read that will keep readers turning the pages to try and guess the chain of events that provide clues to several mysteries," Glider says. "It provides escapism for everyone who loves adventure and mystery."

"Golden Legacy" is loaded with historical fact mixed with creative surmise. Glider hopes readers will look forward to the next chapter in this Jacsen Kidd's series.
