Author Rob Ginnivan says being controlled by thoughts of the past and worries about the future is not the way to attain joy, happiness and peace. In his book, "Now & Now: Transformational Diaries of Present Moment Living" (published by Balboa Press AU), Ginnivan explains that despite the busyness of the mind and everyday stresses of life, it is possible to rise above the canvas of pervasive thoughts and access our true selves - the soul.

In "Now & Now," Ginnivan presents his diary of living in the present, moment by moment, day by day, whether it is eating, working, driving, playing, giving, loving or laughing. The final chapter of the book includes the healing transformations of others as a result of present-moment living. He encourages being attentive to what is happening as life unfolds. Applying teachings of the world's spiritual leaders, Ginnivan shows practical and simple ways to experience life with a deeper sense of purpose, calm and happiness with the power of being present.

"In today's society of heightened turbulence, imbalance and unrest, stressed and confused people are looking more than ever in our history for other answers to help them improve their lives. The book 'Now & Now' gives obvious answers through real life insight, techniques and knowledge to cause a shift in consciousness at the soul level, beyond mind and body," Ginnivan says. "I would like readers to identify with their own lives and experience a positive shift in consciousness to improve the way they live. By turning to any page at random in the book and reading an excerpt, will encourage a relatable awakening to occur in each reader."
