ALLEN, Texas, July 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ Author, Rick Oates, of Allen, TX has signed a letter of intent with Marco Bottiglieri of Happy Tree Film based in Los Angeles, CA to produce and direct a feature film based on Mr. Oates' books. The three books so far in "The Steve Mitchell Adventure Series" - "The Mysterious Flight of 1144Q", "The Mystery of the Wooden Crate" and "The Mystery of the Missing Gold" - are planned for a full length feature film with a sequel to follow. Schedule release date is Fall of 2017.

The project will be under the direction of the internationally known director, Marco Bottiglieri. His expertise, along with his crew and state of the art film equipment, will electrify the indie film market. His creativity to tell a story through the camera lens is truly remarkable! Mr. Bottiglieri is based in Los Angeles, CA allowing access to a wealth of industry advantages.

The style of writing lends itself to be a perfect adaptation to be a riveting film for the average movie patron. It is a story line that will keep the youngest to the oldest sitting on the edge of their seat with their hearts, soul, and mind plunged deep into what they are seeing on the screen, anticipating what will come next but yet surprised by the twists the plot serves up.
