Forth Worth, Texas

Author Raychelle Meyers was born in Fort Worth, Texas, where she was raised in a low-income home and community. The third of four children, she decided to set a new trend for her family and shatter the curse of poverty. Now, many years later, she's the CEO of a non-profit organization and a proud wife and mother.

Meyers now divulges the secrets to taking ownership of one's life in her new book, "Confined Minds: Break Free from Imprisoned Thoughts" (published by Archway Publishing), a comprehensive guide for teens and young adults on becoming a CEO in life and breaking free of turmoil.

Meyers believes anyone outside of a prison is entitled to freedom, including the freedom to utilize their talents and cultivate new opportunities. In "Confined Minds," she discusses how to differentiate between one's own vision and that of others. She also helps readers identify their weaknesses and how they can go about correcting them.

Just like she managed to overcome her circumstances, Meyers is confident readers can reacquire any dreams they thought they had lost and make them a reality. She hopes that by the end of their read through "Confined Minds," readers will have unlocked their true potential and found their true selves.
