In his thought-provoking expose, "Partnering with the Creator" (published by Xlibris), author Donald Repsher takes a new, fresh look at the creation story in the first chapter of Genesis and explores the historical, political, ethical and religious background from which it emerged. It takes these aspects and analyzes them in a way to find answers for developing a better world in the 21st century.

"Does the creation story in the first chapter of Genesis tell us about how our planet was created, or is it a message of hope declaring that the creator can take what is worthless, even a life that has encountered the worst circumstances possible, and transform it into a life that is of great worth?," author Repsher asks the question. This book shows that the first chapter of Genesis emerges from the hopeless experience of Jewish exiles in ancient Babylon and powerfully introduces the most essential message of the Bible: the Creator's initiative invites human beings into a life-changing partnership intended to sustain and care for all of the Creator's good creation.

Drawn from genuine scholarship in many fields of interest including Biblical studies and contemporary economics and ecology, "Partnering with the Creator" is a highly informative read written with passion and clarity. It elaborates on the events that saw the greatest advance in religious spirituality since the time of Moses more than half a thousand years before.
