AKRON, Ohio

The author Brenda Robinson was inspired to write "One for Me, Two for Me" (published by Xlibris) by the many conversations she had with her son as he journeyed to manhood. This made her realize that that if he is asking these questions, there may be many young adults in need of the knowledge and insights they discussed. As a result, she began to journal and document many of their conversations and the insights she gave him to help enrich his life.

"One for Me, Two for Me" offers insights and tools to help people who are transitioning to a life of independence who may not know which questions to ask or how or where to start. It covers many topics such as getting to know oneself better, budgeting, saving money and investing, planning one's career and building one's personal brand, dealing with and managing change, relationships, and buying a car or renting an apartment. It's meant to offer practical, common sense solutions to some of the many questions young adults may have.

At some point, everyone is faced with family and relationship challenges, career change, money concerns and many other challenges. This ingenious book provides a framework for addressing many of these issues and developing plans to achieve one's goals.
