Nick G. Taminich, a late blooming, 72-year-old writer and author, has completed his newest fictionalized work, "The Life and Times of L & H Laurel and Hardy." It is an informative work about how two boys became comics as they gathered mannerisms, how the source of their famous Derby hats came to be and their search for 'Timing' as friends from nowhere in the early 1900s to worldwide fame. Nick takes us on a probable journey as we see his classic work describe two boys as they grow up within a past culture.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Nick G. Taminich's classic work will take the reader on a journey through the past.

In the beginning, there were court jesters then traveling minstrels with mimes. As travel was increased, individuals would carry the news in story, in word, or in song. The news, events, and stories of that time were distributed by word of mouth or in body actions.

As time passed, the printed word was passed along replacing the old style of information. Only the rich who could read held this information. Thus the saying: information made you dangerous. It meant power. In many languages, the spread of information, news, and events was still favored and much preferred by the less educated. Most memories are very recent as people have seen entertainers move without spoken word as their body movements told the story.

Many of these entertainers come to mind. Charley Chase was very animated. Charley Chaplin was action-orientated. Buster Keyton made honest mistakes. Abbot and Costillo yelled at each other. The Marks brothers were too many. The three stooges were violent.

Laurel and Hardy were honest.

Taminich concludes by saying, "They could be your own brother, cousin, or close friend. Their actions in body movement, facial expressions, and generally softer words to each other allowed you to see and learn how to treat each other. Each of their films had a real point or an action to live your own life by."

Readers who wish to experience this unique work can purchase "The Life and Time of Laurel and Hardy" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
