Ben Harris is a man who escapes from his painful past and makes a new life with others who are down and out, living under the bridge near Madison Street in makeshift tents. They regard each other as family and get by until that fateful day when Ben saves three people from a burning limousine. Things change and they are not sure if everything will go back the way it was. Author Nicholas Morell takes his readers into the stirring story of Ben, a hero with a tormented past, in his new publication, And Now I Remember.

The recurring nightmares that haunt Ben every night cause him to relive painful moments of his past that he tries to forget. Suddenly an act of heroism causes him to lose his memory. He can't remember his name, where he lives, his friends, or what sort of man he is. He is a man without a past. However, there are wonderful people who are willing to help him recover: the doctors in the University Hospital, his ex-wife, his friends in the camp who worry about him, and the Wentworth family whom he saved from a certain death. The doctors assured him that his amnesia is only temporary, and that he can still get all the pieces of himself back.

He is given a new home, albeit temporary. He meets brand new friends. Then he's starting to remember things from his distant past. But what if his past is too much to bear and he'd rather bury it forever? The fear overpowers everything else, so he feels he has only one option: run away from it all.

Morell has woven a remarkable tale that blends heroism, bravery, selflessness, friendship and most importantly, the courage to forgive one's self and live again. And Now I Remember is a gripping journey of a hero who will discover how one act can transform his life in ways he would never have expected.
