The Kante family is from an isolated village in Guinea, Africa. All five members of the family have superpowers. When ant creatures attack their village in Carine Colas Diallo's new book, "Guinea: The Invasion of the Ant Creatures" (published by WestBow Press), the family must band together to battle and defeat them.

The first in a planned series, "Guinea: The Invasion of the Ant Creatures" focuses on the three youngest members of the Kante family. Siblings Mimi, Bouba and Bourouma exhibit courage and strength as they fight for their village, bravely engaging the ant creatures in a fierce battle.

Diallo hopes to encourage a focus on acceptance and family with her educational and entertaining story. The book provides basic country information on Guinea's people, geography, language, religion, government and economy while promoting cultural, ethnic and racial acceptance.

"Social globalization through the progressive integration of economies and societies has been occurring over the past several years and Africa must be fully included in that process," Diallo says. "It is my wish for children everywhere to get proper support and guidance needed to support creativity and encourage them to think big."
