Author Linton Smith has worked as a pastor for 50 years. Inspired by the congregations he served and the particular encouragement to write by several people, he releases his publication, "More Than Immortality" (published by Xlibris AU).

This book reveals a brief account of Smith's spiritual journey since he came to faith in 1959, offering hope in an uncertain world and points the way to meaningful living. The story line is interspersed with extended sections of teaching which he gave over the years in response to his own experiences and questions he was asked. Questions such as: "Why believe? What is the book of Revelation all about? What awaits us beyond this life?"

"I believe people are asking the questions I seek to answer," Smith says. "They want to know how faith in Jesus works in everyday life and what to expect beyond this life."

Smith highlights the importance of faith. According to him, when people believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, he gives them more than the hope of immortality. He promises resurrection and life with him in a new heaven and a new earth, giving them a taste of that life here and now. It is his belief that the Spirit of the risen Jesus lives in them and fills their lives with love, confidence, hope and meaning.

An enlightening and inspiring read, "More Than Immortality" encourages readers to believe or to strengthen their belief in Jesus Christ.
