CINCINNATI, Jan. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ Episcopal Retirement Homes' Parish Health Ministry has announced the opening of registration for their 2015 Refresh Your Soul conference. The conference will be held at the Landmark Church in the northern Cincinnati suburb of Sharonville on Saturday, February 28 th, from 8:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m. The Diocese of Southern Ohio is the title sponsor for the event.

From the conference that has brought Patch Adams M.D. to Cincinnati in 2011, and Dr. Eben Alexander, author of Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon's Journey into the Afterlife, in 2014, Parish Health Ministry is pleased to present Mitch Albom, award winning sports writer and author of Tuesday's with Morrie, a former New York Times best seller.

In his presentation, Mr. Albom will share his personal stories from the book about his time with Morrie Schwartz, his former college professor. Tuesdays with Morrie is a magical chronicle of their time together during Morrie's battle with ALS and Mitch's struggle to find meaning and purpose in his life. Mitch will share the priceless lessons learned from this wise friend during his last days.

Also presenting at the conference will be William Hablitzel, MD, who will inspire attendees with his secrets for healing and how all people, not just medical professionals, can bring healing into their lives and work. In addition, Brooke Billingsley, a national speaker, author, and co-owner and CEO of Perception Strategies, will share what the power of hope can do to help others in the midst of their healing journey.

Refresh Your Soul is an annual educational conference created to serve those involved in faith community nursing and health ministry, along with other health professionals and the general public interested in holistic health. Contact hours are available for nurses, counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists and nursing home administrators. In addition, Parish Health Ministry holds this event as a fundraiser to help meet the long-term goal of becoming a self-supporting entity. All of the proceeds from this conference benefit ERH's Parish Health Ministry.
