Crystal Reece, a missionary to Tonga, believes that God places influencers in our lives in order to 'splash us' and create ripples that impact our future.

Reece's new book, "Island Splashes" is about her calling into missionary work. The book is more than a memoir; it's the chronicle of how Reece's life has been shaped by examples of God's unwavering trust. Trust that she believes he places in everyone.

"God gives us certain people for a reason," Reece said. "He is always with us and answers all prayers, even if it's not with the answer we desire at the moment."

While at Urshan Graduate School of Theology, Reece believed that she lacked an abundance of mentors throughout the course of her life. Suddenly it dawned on her; everyone that God has placed in her life is there for a reason. Her memoir showcases the importance of putting faith in God, as he molds all of us for his purpose

"From ministry to family, God has methodically ordered every influencer that has rippled through my life," Reece said. "I Pray to continually make splashes from here to the uttermost parts of earth by living out each lesson that God has taught me."
