Michael Alesi marks his debut in the world of science fiction with the release of "Darkness of Humanity I" (published by Xlibris). This new novel reveals a terrifying vision of the future, a future where the world teeters on the brink of either unprecedented progress or total annihilation.

The first book in a new science fiction series, "Darkness of Humanity I" is set in the year 2551. Two West Point Military Academy senior cadets make an important discovery: a file thought to be lost for over a half of a millennium. The file holds the dirtiest, darkest and most corrupt history of humanity from the earliest 1990s to the first shot of World War III. This file could change not just the cadets' lives but the entire history of humanity as they know it. Prescient, compelling and brilliantly orchestrated, "Darkness of Humanity I" is a stunning tale of choice, chance and the great sacrifices that are an inevitable part of human existence.

Debut author Alesi is proud to unveil his first book which is the product of hard work and determination. More than entertainment, he hopes that his book will inspire others to work on their dreams just as he did.
