It's no secret that raising a child can be a difficult task. Many parents find themselves looking for anything that can help make raising a child easier and ensure a better end result. Mattie L. Solomon believes the solution to raising children better lies within a parent's own childhood, which she covers at great lengths in her latest book "What Did Your Parents Do To You?: What would you say if you were asked how you felt about the childhood experiences you had with your parents?" (published by iUniverse).

Solomon is a firm believer that, of all experiences in life, "...none are as powerful as the experiences we have growing up with our parents." She builds upon this idea in "What Did Your Parents Do To You?" by sharing the stories of countless individuals she interviewed and discussing each one's healing process. She then asks readers to dig into their own childhood and think about what their parents did to them, and what they would like to do differently raising their own children.

By approaching the task of raising children through the lens of one's own childhood, Solomon hopes her work will be applicable to nearly every parent, as she has found something every reader experiences: childhood.
