"From Fast Track to Splat...In Olympic Gold-Medal Time" is the creation of published author, Lois Duble, author, wife, mother, grandmother and survivor. In addition to inspired writing, Lois's hobbies are gardening, baking, and reading. A long-time deacon in her little country church, she is also involved in Aglow International, a worldwide ministry dedicated to reaching men, women, and children with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Born after her healthy twin brother, Mitch, she was what they termed a "blue baby." The doctor had no choice but to lay her aside and wait. Finally, she heaved a shuttering breath and the Lord owned the victory. What followed was a childhood and adulthood filled with several debilitating episodes of depression that resulted in hospitalizations and a series of tenuous holds on life. Only by the grace of God did she manage to escape self-destruction.
