Linda Blum grew up in a psychic family. Her uncle was psychic and used to participate in fairs and had his own call-in psychic talk show on television. She's also had her own "experiences". Blum jokingly says that since no one would believe her, she decided to write about these unusual experiences in a fiction book.

M.O.E., Linda's second novel, is about a man who is a Manipulator of Energy or a M.O.E. who tries to seduce women through manipulation. The main character witnesses the man's antics and was almost caught in his energy web herself. The man has his sights set on her and will stop at nothing to get what he wants. With help from her psychic friend, she arms herself with tools to take him down. Dressing in various disguises, she sets out to stop him, but finds a faceless friend is also involved. She soon realizes trying to stop him isn't easy, especially with danger lurking around the corner.

Another book that's hard to put down, readers will enjoy this psychic romp with the zany characters from her first novel, The Vision.

When the print version of the book was released several years ago, the following appeared in The Kitchener-Waterloo Record: "It's called M.O.E. (short for Manipulator of Energy) and again features the psychic Judy and her friend, Hope, who in The Vision, Blum's 2008 novel, had many screwball adventures playing detectives in a town playfully called Kitshener. This time, the two women are scheming to 'turn the tables' on Jonathan, a man who has been manipulating women into having sex and now has his eye on Hope." (January 24, 2009)

Linda has also been on local television, radio and her books are in local libraries.

M.O.E. is a novel available at Volumes Direct.com, and is newly published in e-book format by eBookIt.com. It is available at eBookIt.com and various other book retailers. For a preview of M.O.E., and excerpts from television interviews and reviews, please visit http://www.lindablum.ca.
