James Evangelidis, Australia's most connected person on LinkedIn, is sharing the sales from the September 17 launch of his first thriller e-book, Maze of Keys, with his readers and three world charity organizations.

Maze of Keys is about a high-flying business executive in New York, Joshua Keys, who gets caught in the middle of a vendetta between his biggest client and a crazy, rich European woman who wants the client out of the picture.

According to James, Maze of Keys is about blackmail, kidnapping, intrigue and murder - all the essential elements of a top-notch thriller.

An unusual twist to Maze of Keys is the game built around the book. The game involves solving a puzzle, and the only way to solve the puzzle is by finding the clues in the story.

There's a big incentive for readers to get involved: a cash prize of a minimum of US$10,000. The cash prize increases as more books are sold.

If a million books are sold worldwide between September 17 and October 31, 2014, the prize for the reader who solves the puzzle increases to US$3 million.

In addition to the winner's cash prize, and if sales reach 1 million e-books, $1 million dollars will go to charity. James says there is no maximum prize value - the more books sold within the six weeks, the higher the cash prize.

After extensive discussions with his legal team, his advisory board, and a top competition consultant, James' Maze of Keys competition was approved to launch.

Global accounting firm Ernst & Young will be the official auditor and scrutinizer for the Maze of Keys competition, including the selection of finalists and the announcement of the winner.

The only way to get involved in the competition is to visit http://www.mazeofkeys.com, buy the book for $15, then solve the puzzle.
